(C)1993 It's Magic! PC Potions
ALL THE FEATURES YOU'VE BEEN WANTING IN TAPE BACKUP SUPPORT SOFTWARE!
The Tape Librarian system's programs provides you with all the tools necessary
for you to create and maintain a catalogue of the contents of your backup tapes.
You will be able to easily find and restore any file, or any path, on any tape.
No more leafing through outdated handwritten logs or searching endlessly through
each tape's volume directory. With the Tape Librarian you can master your backup
tapes and create a true archival system.
The Tape Librarian system, provides you with the following capabilities:
* Catalogue an existing tape's volumes' contents, by individual volumes, or by a
range of volumes , or catalogue all its volumes at once.
* Delete a catalogued tape's volumes' contents from the Catalogue Files, by
individual volumes, or by a range of volumes , or delete all volumes at once.
* Print a listing of the contents of a catalogued tape's volumes.
* Search for all occurrences of a path or file name on all catalogued tapes.
Sub directories will be included only if you want them. You can view search
results on your screen, or print them out.
* Restore a specific path or file from any volume, or range of volumes, from any
of your catalogued tapes. You can choose whether or not to include sub
directories in any restore, even if they weren't included in your search. You
can also alter the restore-to drive, path, or file name to whatever you want.
* Cataloguing from a batch file is now supported!
There is absolutely NOTHING like it!
