  2. To Whom It May Concern:
  3.    All KLAP BBS lists/files are copyrighted and are the sole property
  4. of Mike "Wheelchr" Klappal.
  5.    KLAP BBS lists, although free of charge to any and all persons, are
  6. not FREEWARE in any way, form or fashion, and are in fact COMMERCIAL
  7. software and should be treated as such by all.
  8.    I may grant permission to a sysop to post KLAP BBS lists in his or
  9. her File area to be downloaded by his or her callers.  I may grant
  10. additional permission to a sysop to use the "dated" portion (KLAPmmdd)
  11. of my BBS lists with or without its accompanying "CR" (KLAPmmCR)
  12. portion for display in a Bulletin area, at the discretion of the sysop.
  13.    This permission is limited to KLAP BBS lists uploaded by me and
  14. shall not ever be extended to include KLAP BBS lists downloaded from
  15. one BBS and subsequently uploaded onto another BBS, whether by a sysop
  16. or not, which are then posted in File areas and/or used as bulletins
  17. for public display and/or downloading.
  18.    No one but me may edit KLAPmmCR, KLAPmmdd or this notice in any way.
  19.    Permission is not expressly granted for public display or posting.
  20.    Further, no one but me may grant this permission, and anyone
  21. posting unauthorized copies my KLAP BBS lists shall stop this public
  22. display and shall immediately remove any and all unauthorized copies
  23. of my lists from public view and/or access.

  25.   Nothing has changed from how it's always been.  No rules, conditions
  26. or expections have been added or removed.  This notice serves only to
  27. spell things out better, to help ensure my BBS lists are handled more
  28. uniformly, and so you can have a better understanding of what you can
  29. or can't do with my lists.
