Black Friday

Black Friday
The darkness overshadowed all
As we watched the angels fall
Spirits coming from the grave
Only fearing Satan's staves
Havoc everywhere does abound
Magical spirits do astound
Hell's fire flies so fast
Emerging monsters from the past
The black cat is prowling tonight
The dark approaches to kill the light
Murder and carnage everywhere
The serpent drags victims to its lair
All this and more on Black Friday
This is the death with Hell to pay
There's no way out...no escape to take
Until the calm of Saturday breaks
6/17/86 by Thomas Van Hook (c) 1986
A quick note on this poem. It was written as a poem on the theme of
Friday the 13th. Not necessarily the movie but behind the general
phobia behind a Friday the 13th.
