  6. The focus of PRISM is on analysis of belief systems, how they 
  7. are formed and how they affect us.  Analysis is "the separation 
  8. of any whole into its parts in order to determine their nature, 
  9. proportion, function and interrelationship."  PRISM is being 
  10. developed as a multimedia guide to belief systems by analyzing 
  11. the components of belief systems, forming definitions, and building 
  12. indexed and hypertext links between definitions.
