  6. Certainly, I appreciate your question.  I started the analysis of
  7. belief systems to help me gain insights and understanding, and was
  8. drawing upon my life experiences.  When I showed it to my wife, she
  9. said, "Gary, this chart is you."
  10.  
  11. In the original design, developed in PageMaker for overhead
  12. transparencies, I showed Christianity, "Eastern" Thought/New Age 
  13. and Humanism/Atheism/Marxism as the three primary belief 
  14. systems, and included "Other Religions, Philosophies, and 
  15. Schools of Thought (Not Addressed Here.)"  For the transparencies, 
  16. which required focus, I represented the belief systems I know best.

  18. I was also trying to express belief systems from the point of view 
  19. of those who hold them, and soon realized I could not be totally
  20. objective.  It was then I decided to make the development of PRISM 
  21. a collaberative effort of the electronic community, which truly has 
  22. no boundaries within this context.

  24. I am personally seeking to understand other belief systems, as 
  25. well as help others to gain insights, and would appreciate your 
  26. input.
