  15.  The Pasco BBS Magazine is an electronic magazine which is distributed free
  16.  every month.  Having Distribution Sites gives an added flavor to the
  17.  magazine, as many times articles will be written on unique features a
  18.  Distribution Site has to offer.  The sites also help with exposure, as not
  19.  everyone calls around to a lot of long-distance bulletins boards.  It is not
  20.  a bad deal for the Distribution Sites, as these boards will probably get a
  21.  few more calls, get free ads in the magazine and some extra publicity.

  23.  It was originally intended for each Distribution Site to receive a free ad
  24.  in every issue, but unfortunately there can only be a limited number of ads
  25.  each month.  As more Distribution Sites are named, the frequency of ads will
  26.  have to be reduced.  Distribution Sites will always receive an ad the month
  27.  they are named, but after that, there is no guarantee space will allow for
  28.  an ad in every issue.  Remember, a complete list of the Distribution Sites
  29.  will always run at the beginning of every issue and each month all sites,
  30.  which submit one, will have an ad in the BBS Log.  Advertising space is
  31.  limited, so the editor makes all determinations on which and when  ads will
  32.  run.  Ads should be forwarded to the Board of Trade BBS.  It is preferred
  33.  that ads for the magazine not exceed 23 lines.  The Pasco BBS Magazine
  34.  cannot be held responsible for information contained within ads.  All ads
  35.  remain the property of their owners.

  37.  The Distribution Sites are granted an area exclusively, which is normally
  38.  meant to imply a city.  It is difficult to guarantee that two sites could
  39.  not fall within the same calling area, as local calling areas vary
  40.  dramatically worldwide.

  42.  The editor will attempt to upload the magazine to the Distribution Sites, so
  43.  these boards will be the first to receive every issues.  Sometimes it may be
  44.  better to call the Board of Trade BBS, especially if your board is "busy"
  45.  and as the number of Distribution Sites increases.

  54.       ■ Must not engage in illegal activity

  56.       ■ Must have the current issue available of on-line reading
  57.         (Bulletin or Door)

  59.       ■ Must have all issues (current and past) available for downloading

  61.       ■ Must allow free downloading of the magazine
  62.         (this doesn't necessarily mean a free board)

  64.  Other things boards could do to become, or remain, a Distribution Site:

  66.       ■ Display "Pasco BBS Magazine Distribution Site" on welcome screen

  68.       ■ Create a Pasco BBS Magazine File Directory

  70.       ■ Forward submissions to the Board of Trade BBS

  72.       ■ Upload magazine around local calling area

  74.  It is possible, only with the consent of the editor, that one of the first
  75.  four conditions may be waived (with the obvious exception of engaging in
  76.  illegal activity).  Special consideration may also be given on ads.  It is
  77.  the objective to have a stable list of Distribution Sites, but sometimes
  78.  things change.  The Pasco BBS Magazine is not responsible for the activities
  79.  of the Distribution Sites.

  81.  Distribution Site Sysops should help keep the information in the BBS Log up
  82.  to date, by calling the Board of Trade BBS and leaving a message or retaking
  83.  the Pasco BBS Magazine Script Questionnaire.

  90.  Sysops interested in becoming a Pasco BBS Magazine Distribution Site
  91.  please fill out the Pasco BBS Magazine Distribution Site Questionnaire on
  92.  the Board of Trade BBS.  Take the time to fill out all the questions, as the
  93.  information will be used in the BBS Log to give added publicity to
  94.  Distribution Sites.  You will be notified of your acceptance by message on
  95.  the board, normally within 24 hours.  Make sure you have all issues of the
  96.  magazine, along with all other files in the Pasco BBS Magazine File
  97.  Directory on the Board of Trade BBS.
