  5.         NEW FASTER SOFTWARE FOR DISTRIBUTED CONFERANCES

  7.     InterEcho is a new very fast software for processing messages
  8. in distributed conferances (Echomail).  When installed with a BBS
  9. package, it expands the system's capabilities and fully operation.
  10. All the user needs to do is specify the name of the conference and
  11. where to get it.

  13.     Messages in distributed conferances are transfered in
  14. compressed files. InterEcho uncompress them and move (toss)
  15. messages to proper conference folders.  BBS callers may then read
  16. and reply to messages, as if they were entered locally.  InterEcho
  17. will also scan out messages posted on the BBS and compress them
  18. for later delivery InterMail.

  20.     InterEcho is a FidoNet compatible echomail tosser with support
  21. for Wildcat, PCBoard, Hudson and *.msg message base formats.
  22. Integrated setup with InterMail, a common FidoNet-compatible
  23. front-end mailer.
