  5.     FotoMan Plus, by Logitech, is a digital camera for Windows and
  6.     Macintosh. It is as easy as point and shoot. There is no need to
  7.     develop film. Instantly your pictures are transformed to you
  8.     computer.

  10.     FotoMan Plus has the capability of taking 32 snapshots. It has a
  11.     built-in flash, and comes with a filter for bright light. You can
  12.     purchase many add-ons for the camera. By using the included step
  13.     ring adapter you can use standard 37mm camcorder accessories. These
  14.     include macro, wide angle, and telephoto lenses and filters. You can
  15.     even add a table top or standard tripod.

  17.     It comes with a carrying case, neutral density filter, and FotoTouch
  18.     Windows-based software for IBM or Digital Darkroom for MAC. The
  19.     pictures are in 256 gray scale, and have an image definition of 496
  20.     x 360 pixels. It has a rechargeable battery that will last up to 100
  21.     hours on a single charge. It comes with an AC power supply, and the
  22.     IBM version also includes 9- to 25-pin adapter.

  24.     You will need a serial port for the IBM version, and works best with
  25.     VGA or higher graphic card. The camera is small (measuring 6.7 x 3.2
  26.     x 1.2 in.), and light (weighing 10 oz.).

  28.     I used the IBM version. Once I took my pictures, I plugged in the
  29.     serial cable and connected it to FotoMan. When I ran the software I
  30.     saw thumbnail images of the pictures stored in the camera. I now
  31.     have the option of downloading all of them to my computer, or just
  32.     the ones I want. After downloading, I can either leave the images in
  33.     the camera, or delete them. Leaving pictures in the camera will
  34.     reduce the available shots you have left. Now, using FotoTouch image
  35.     editing software, you can edit at multiple zoom levels for
  36.     lightening, darkening and negative effects; brightness and contrast
  37.     adjustment; resize and rotate features; image merging; and support
  38.     for JPEG file compression.

  40.     FotoMan Plus for IBM supports: TIFF, JPEG, PCX, BMP and EPS. MAC
  41.     version supports TIFF(1-and8-bit), PICT/PICT2, EPS. IBM version is
  42.     TWAIN compliant.

  44.     This is an excellent product for a variety of industries from:
  45.     insurance adjusters and real estate, to construction, education,
  46.     government, desktop publishing and more. The graphic quality of the
  47.     photos is excellent.

  49.     I enjoyed using this product and do recommend it to anyone who has a
  50.     need for it. You will not be disappointed.
