- For those of you who have never heard of Twin Cities 128 an
- explanation is in order. TC 128 is a monthly publication devoted
- exclusively to the Commodore 128. It is created entirely on C-128s and
- associated equipment. Loren Lovhaug, the founder of TC 128, believes
- in using the equipment he writes about. The result is that TC 128 is
- an excellent source of information about the C-128.
-
-
- The compendium is a 170 page book which recaps the best of TC 128. In
- it you will find about 75% of the articles that appeared in the
- original magazines. The subject matter ranges from program reviews to
- programming tips, from machine language to CP/M. Some of the very best
- C-128 information is in this book.
-
-
- If you have been a subscriber to TC 128 since day one you don't need
- this book, but if you haven't been, this book is a necessary addition
- to your library. Besides the neat tid bits about programming and the
- great reviews of C-128 software the rumors/opinion column is
- interesting reading. It chronicles the ups and downs of the C-128 from
- its introduction.
-
-
- I highly recommend this book and the TC 128 magazine to all C-128
- owners. If you only subscribe to one computer magazine, TC 128 should
- be it.
-
- Editor's Note: After reading the TC 128 COMPENDIUM Book #1 I agree
- With Dale Ray's comments. There is only one minor problem that I
- would like to see corrected for Compendium #2; larger print (for the
- older crowd).
