  14. Note: If you decide to own a copy of Grade Organizer, you
  15. will receive retail diskettes with a complete set of files,
  16. a setup program to install Grade Organizer and a detailed
  17. User's Guide.

  20. I. INSTALLING GRADE ORGANIZER

  23. A. Decompressing your file(s)
  24.     If your file(s) end(s) with the extension 'zip' 
  25.     they need to be decompressed. Grade Organizer files have
  26.     been compressed using PKZIP 1.1.
  27.  
  28.     The following are the necessary files to run Grade Organizer:
  29.         * Main program: GRADE.EXE
  30.                         GRID.VBX
  31.         * 3D look:      CTL3DV2.DLL
  32.                         THREED.VBX
  33.  
  34. B. New Directory
  35.     Create a new directory with File Manager. 
  36.     For example 'C:\GRADE'
  37.                                 
  38. C. Grade Organizer files
  39.     Copy the following files to the newly
  40.     created directory:
  41.  
  42.          GRADE.EXE, GRID.VBX, THREED.VBX.
  43.                                  
  44. D. 'CTL3DV2.DLL' 
  45.     Copy the file 'CTL3DV2.DLL' to your Windows directory
  46.     or Windows System directory. For example: 'C:\WINDOWS'
  47.     or 'C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM'.

  49.     Note: Do not override an existing file and remove all
  50.           duplicates to avoid file conflict.
  51.                              
  52. E. Start Grade Organizer
  53.     From File Manager double-click with the left mouse    
  54.     button on the file 'GRADE.EXE'.
  55.  
  56.     Grade Organizer is now opened and a dialog box
  57.     appears asking you to create a School Session.    
  58.     
  59.     ** To create a School Session
  60.        A School Session is a directory where all your Classes
  61.        will be saved.
  62.  
  63.     a. Start Grade Organizer.
  64.  
  65.     b. A dialog box appears asking you to create a School
  66.        Session. Choose the OK button.
  67.  
  68.     c. Enter a directory as indicated on 
  69.        the dialog box. For example 'C:\GRADE\1994'.

  71.     d. Choose the Set Path button.

  73. You are now ready to add Subjects, Classes and Assignments. 
  74. Follow the instructions on the screen.

  94. amount of time and work. Using Grade Organizer without 
  95. registering will prevent us from upgrading and allowing you
  96. to try the software before buying the actual product. On the 
  97. other hand, your purchase of the product will be used to better
  98. the product and to customize it to your specific needs.

  100. You are granted a 3-week trial period. Using Grade Organizer
  101. beyond this grace period is a violation of the United States
  102. copyright law. When exiting Grade Organizer a dialog box 
  103. appears, giving you all the necessary information to register
  104. a copy of this product.

  106. You can distribute freely the on-line version of Grade 
  107. Organizer, if this Readme.txt file is included.

  109. In no event shall the author or his suppliers be liable for
  110. any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages
  111. for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of 
  112. business information, or other pecuniary loss) arising out of 
  113. the use of or inability to use this product, even if the author

  125. said courts.
