Newly crowned heavyweight champion George Foreman might climb back into the ring, but it looks as if it would take ex-champ Mike Tyson and George's mother, Nancy, to make it happen.
"Tyson woudl be the only guy that would make me feel the spice to fight again," Foreman said Thursday in Houston. "I'd fight him instantly."
Tyson, in an Indiana prison serving a six-year sentence for rape, is scheduled to be released next year.
Foreman, though, added he would fight again only if he received permission from his mom.
"Oh! No comment," Mrs. Foreman said, laughing. "I'll let him know first, and we'll sit down in the next couple of days and talk it over."
With a 73-4 record and 68 knockouts, Foreman became the oldest heavyweight champion Saturday with his 10th-round knockout of Michael Moorer. He won his first heavyweight crown with a 1973 knockout of Joe Frazier.
