LOS ANGELES -- O.J. Simpson came out of seclusion Thursday long enough to attend the funeral and burial of his slain ex-wife.
Wearing a black suit, Simpson kissed his and Nicole Simpson's children - Sidney Brooke, 9, and Justin, 6 - as they stood by their mother's casket, at the private Brentwood services at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church.
Simpson, 46, didn't speak publicly during the funeral.
"It was a beautiful eulogy for a beautiful woman and mother," said Steve Garvey, ex-Los Angeles Dodgers star.
Mourners included ex-Simpson football teammate Bob Chandler and Olympic champion Bruce Jenner.
Nicole Simpson was buried about 50 miles away in Lake Forest, Calif.
Security was so tight at the burial that even the priest who conducted graveside services was asked for identification. About 20 miles away in Agoura Hills, the parents of Ronald Goldman buried their son, who was stabbed to death Sunday night with Nicole.
At Goldman's funeral, there was an undercurrent of anger.
"I am just completely in shock," said Goldman's estranged mother, Sharon Rufo.
"I want O.J. to turn himself in, that's all," said Frank Enderle, a Goldman family friend. "O.J., if you turn yourself in at least your children would have some money because you are going to spend all your money on court cases and you are going to lose."
