  7. All these movie clips have been tested to work on the following machines
  8.  
  9. Macintosh
  10. A Quadra 610 with 8MB RAM, using Quicktime 1.6.2, System 7.1 and MoviePlayer 1.1d1.

  12. PC Compatible
  13. A 486 DX2 66MHz 16 MB RAM, using Quicktime for Windows 1.1, OS/2 and QuickTime MoviePlayer 1.1
  14.  
  15. NEXTSTEP
  16. NEXTSTEP for Intel, 486 DX2 66MHz 16 MB RAM, using NEXTIME 1.0. The CineClips CDROM has to be mounted as a Macintosh CDROM in order to work properly

  18. Some movies may not run properly when executed from the cdrom, copy them into your hard disk and run them again.

  20. Virus Protection
  21. Precautions to check for viruses have been done using the SAM Inti-virus version 3.5 as of October 15, 1994 and Disinfectant 3.5. PC compatible virus checking has been done using the McAfee Associates virus checker 9.28 V116.

  23. While all the files on this cdrom have been tested using the SAM Inti-virus program and Disinfectant 3.5 and were free of viruses it is possible that an unkown virsus is on the cdrom and that virus experts did not know of it's existence as of October 15, 1994.

  25. About the Indexes

  27. You will find in each folder two (2) Index files.
  28.  
  29. aa_Index.txt  is simply an ASCII TEXT file, which can be use with any 
  30. word processor.
  31.  
  32. aa_Index.dmk  is a DocMaker (Great shareware by Mark Wall) that let's you simply double click the icon to view the text for the index on a Macintosh.
