  7. How does Ami Pro display 256 color graphics?

  11. In order for Ami Pro to display a 256 color graphic in 256 pure colors, a 256 
  12. color display driver must be used.  When a 16 color (VGA level) display driver 
  13. is being used, 256 color graphics will display in the closest color for each 
  14. pixel out of the 16 available colors.
