  1. TITLE:   Font Name Appears in Red on Status Bar

  7. After opening a file, the name in the Face button on the Status Bar displays 
  8. in red and the Point size button does not display different point sizes.
  9.  
  10. SOLUTION:

  12. When the name in the Face button on the Status Bar appears in red (gray on 
  13. monochrome monitors) and the Point Size button does not react, the font face 
  14. (typeface) assigned to the text at the insertion point location is not 
  15. actually available to the printer specified for the document.
  16.  
  17. In Style / Modify Style specify for each paragraph style a font face and point 
  18. size that is available for the specified printer.  If the document is saved to 
  19. keep format with the document (none displays in the Styles Box), perform a 
  20. File / Save to save the changes.  If the document is using a style sheet (a 
  21. style sheet name displays in the Styles Box), save the changes to the same 
  22. style sheet name (if the original font face will never be available) or save 
  23. the changes to a new style sheet name if the original style sheet needs to be 
  24. preserved.
