- BIBLE WINDOW 1.1 Bulletin board edition
-
- You must have the file vbrun100.dll to run Bible Window. That file must be
- present to run any program written in Microsoft's Visual Basic. The file
- may be stored as vbrun100.zip on your BBS. It may also have a later version
- number such as vbrun101.zip or something. Copy this file to your main
- Windows subdirectory (probably c:\windows).
-
- After you have decompressed the zip files with pkunzip, copy them to a file
- named c:\biblewin or d:\biblewin or e:\biblewin
- Bible Window must be installed in one of these directories.
- If you wish, run the go.bat program. This batch file will create the
- directory and copy the files to it. Run this batch file from the directory
- where you downloaded the Biblewin.zip.
-
- RUNNING BIBLE WINDOW
-
- 1) Select File then Run from the Program Manager menu. In the box type
- c:\biblewin\bw.exe and hit <enter>. OR
-
- 2) Use the file manager to highlight the bw.exe file and then double click.
-
- Advanced users:
- modify the win.ini file to run or load Bible Window.
- Example:
- load=c:\biblewin\bw.exe
- Bible Window can also be made an item in a program group.
-
- REGISTERING
-
- If you find this program useful, registration is suggested. Information may
- be found in the read_me menu choice in the Bible Window program. Registration
- choices include versions of the Online Bible, a fast and feature-laden Bible

- You may also use the form supplied named "register.frm". You may find this
- file in your c:\bw directory after you run the go.bat file. You may copy
- this form to your printer with the "copy c:\bw\register.frm lpt1" at the
- DOS prompt.
-
- SCREEN SAVER
-
- If your monitor displays the same picture for a long time, the screen can get
- burned out. If you plan to leave your computer idle for a while, use the
- screen saver program named saver. You may want to keep this program as an
- icon in your Windows environment. Then whenever you are going to let the
- computer idle, double-click the icon to run the screen saver. It is
- suggested that you run this program from the win.ini file by including it
- in the load= line as follows:
- load = c:\biblewin\saver

- SPEEDY-Q
