  1. Dear Apogee Game Player,

  3. The BASH1.EXE enclosed in this archive is a drop-in replacement
  4. for the BASH1.EXE that you already have in your Shareware version
  5. of the game.  If you have the registered version of the software,
  6. DO NOT use this executable file.
  7.  
  8. Also, if you have not yet downloaded the full version of the software,
  9. do that, as this file will only work on already installed versions
  10. of the software.  This BASH1.EXE file fixes these problems:
  11.  
  12. 1) It was possible for the game to crash to DOS when you died.  Fixed.
  13.  
  14. 2) The Rockman on Level 4 near the end of the game would stand in
  15.    place and essentially "act invisible" if you shot him after he was
  16.    hit by a thrown knife.  Fixed.
  17.  
  18. 3) It was possible to artificially increase your score by the use of
  19.    the save game files.  Fixed.
  20.  
  21. 4) Some people could not get by the dragon at the end of Level 4, even
  22.    if they knew how to properly do it.  This was due in part to some
  23.    other occurrances in the level.  Fixed.
