  25. To PRINT A COPY OF THIS MANUAL, push F8 while playing the game.  Alternately,
  26. you can load this file "MANUAL.TXT" into your word processor (this file
  27. is ASCII text with no embedded characters.)  You can also redirect the manual
  28. to your printer by typing the following at the DOS command line.  
  29. "TYPE MANUAL.TXT > PRN" then push ENTER.

  31.                GAME FEATURES
  32.  
  33. 1.  Play BLACKJACK with up to 4 computer generated players.
  34. 2.  Set the number of decks to be used (up to six decks).
  35. 3.  Change the game rules to match most casino rules. 
  36. 4.  Monitor game statistics as the game progresses.
  37. 5.  Use BET UNITS to systematically increase bets as the card count sweetens.
  38. 6.  Use one or both built in count systems to verify or develop your own.
  39. 7.  Modify a count system to suit your own needs.
  40. 8.  Let the computer play your hand with a strategy you develop in the
  41.     simulations "BUILD STRATEGY" choice. Tailor this strategy with a custom
  42.     "TUTOR" and "CUSTOM COUNT" systems if desired.
  43. 9.  Use the "SIMULATION FEATURE" (see 8 above) to test your theories in
  44.     long term play (speed up the game and let it play up to 30000 hands
  45.     in a short period of time.
  46. 10. Change your table position and the number of players at the table at any
  47.     time.
  48. 11. Monitor your table mates strategy and bets, see how they fare over the
  49.     long term.
  50. 12. Recall your last game and continue play just as you left it last time if
  51.     so desired.
  52. 13. See a quick BIOGRAPHY of other players you may encounter at the table.
  53. 14. Monitor both count systems with the touch of a key before placing a bet.
  54. 15. Use the "TUTOR" as a graphic illustration of the statistically correct
  55.     move, or use a quick key selection to verify your choice before deciding 
  56.     what to do when it's your turn to take a card.
  57. 16. Have the computer display your hand total as an aid if desired.
  58. 17. Intuitive easy to use interface.

  77. 1. The game supplied is an unregistered version.  This version is
  78.    provided as a demonstration of the game capabilities and provides 
  79.    a fully functioning BLACKJACK simulation.  Some game enhancements 
  80.    are reserved for those users who find this game to be a worthwhile 
  81.    investment. Shareware is a try before you buy marketing method. If 
  82.    you make regular use of this software, you are expected to "purchase"
  83.    it by paying the registration fee. Registered users will receive 
  84.    a disk with the most current version of this game.  The registered 
  85.    version has several game enhancements not available in the unregistered 
  86.    copy.  These features are listed below.

  88.              REGISTRATION BENEFITS
  89.  
  90. 1. Your registered version will no longer have registration reminders
  91.    on screen.
  92. 2. Your registered version will allow you to select the amount of money
  93.    you will have when starting the game.  The unregistered version will
  94.    always start you with $1000.00.
  95. 3. Your registered version will allow you to save and recall the previous 
  96.    game just as you left it.  
  97. 4. Your registered version will allow you to access the "CUSTOM CARD COUNT"
  98.    system so that you may modify it as you desire.  Your custom system will
  99.    be saved under the name you signed in with and will be available for each
  100.    subsequent game you play and sign in with using that name.
  101. 5. Your registered version will save any "CUSTOM TUTOR" screen you develop.
  102.    It will be saved and reloaded as in #3 above.    
  103. 6. Your registered version will no longer be limited to 100 hands during
  104.    a "SIMULATION". Up to 30000 hands may be completed for each simulation.
  105. 7. Sound Blaster support is provided.  If you have a Sound Blaster or 100%
  106.    compatible system, you can order the optional voice pack for this game.
  107.    These files will allow you to hear digital recordings of the words seen
  108.    in the talk balloons.  This provides for a more realistic and entertain-
  109.    ing game.  NOTE: When all voice files are decompressed to your hard disk,
  110.    they will occupy more than 1.2 mega bytes of space.

  112. 8. Registered users can order additional "ULTIMATE" games at a 20% discount.
  113.    The registered version of the games "Ultimate Baccarat" and "Ultimate 
  114.    Gin" can be purchased for $8.00 each (regular price is $10.00).  If 
  115.    you order the Voice Pack for Ultimate Blackjack, you will receive the Voice 
  116.    Pack for all other "ULTIMATE" games you purchase free.  If these games are 
  117.    ordered at one time, you need only pay one shipping and handling fee for 
  118.    the entire order.  See "OTHER ULTIMATE GAMES" at the end of this file
  119.    for a description of these games.
