  295.    REMOVING A THREE SPEED WHEEL

  297.      Before  removing  this wheel,
  298. you  must  take  off  the shifting
  299. mechanism. There  are  two  common
  300. kinds, Sturmey-Archer and Shimano.
  301. The   Sturmey-Archer  hub   has  a
  302. little  chain  coming  out  of the
  303. axle.  Shimano hubs  have a  lever
  304. instead.

  306.      If you have a Sturmey-Archer,
  307. put the  shifter in high  (3) gear
  308. position.  Unscrew the  cable from
  309. the   tiny  chain.   Ignoring  the
  310. little  chain, you  now loosen the
  311. axle nuts and remove the wheel.
