- TUNING UP YOUR BICYCLE
-
- As you know, a person riding a
- bike is the most efficent animal
- on earth in terms of travel for
- energy expended. We are also the
- most efficient machine on earth
- using the same criteria. However,
- bikes must be a compromise of
- weight, expense and efficiency.
- Therefore, they are fragile and
- need frequent adjustment.
- Why pay the high-school kids at
- the bike shop $20 or more every
- time your bike needs a tune up,
- when, with just a little reading
- and practice you can do a better
- job yourself? Why pay the kid,
- when it is fun to do it yourself?
