Phantagram UK are releasing the UK version of this Korean game anytime now, and we're giving you your first chance to try the demo. In Blade Warrior you play Hero Sou. He's got to battle through each level and destroy the big boss at the end.
To despatch your foes you have a light sabre and various power-ups, which add to your arsenal. You'll be attacked from the air and the ground by various nasties which need to be dispatched for you to reach your goal. Our demo features the whole first level.
Once the installation of Blade Warrior is complete, the Window for DirectX Setup will appear.If you've already got this installed then you won't need to install it again.
How to play:
1) Directions
Keyboard : left/right arrow key.
Joypad : left/right button.
2) Crouching
Keyboard : Press and hold down arrow key.
Joypad : Press and hold down button.
3) Walk
Keyboard : Press and hold left/right arrow key.
Joypad : Press and hold left/right button.
4) Run
Keyboard : Double press and hold left/right arrow key.
Joypad : Double press and hold left/right button.
5) Jump up
Keyboard : Press Z key.
Joypad : Press button 1.
* Hero Sou can Jump up at standing position and can also
jump up in the direction that he is going while moving.
6) Attack
Keyboard : Press X key.
Joypad : Press button 2.
There are five types of attack in this game.
a) Combination attack : Press and hold X key(button 2).
b) Jumping attack : Press X key(button 2) when jumping.
c) Pounce attack : Press and hold down arrow
key(button)+ X key(button 2)after Jumping.
d) Attack upper zone : Press adn hold up arrow key(button)
+ X key(button 2).
e) Attack lower zone : Press and hold down arrow key(button)+ X key(button 2).
7) Defence
Press and hold attack key(X/button 2), and hero Sou will defend himself after a turn of attack.
Hero Sou can not defend himself in the following cases.
* Enemies' attack from behind
* Enemies' laser attack

1) f1 : Pause
2) f3 : Changing window size (320x200 640x400)
3) f4 : Changing screen (full screen window)
4) f5 : Adjusting screen's brightness to darker
5) f6 : Adjusting screen's brightness to lighter
6) spacebar : Skipping over introducory animations(Fast View)
7) Esc : To end this game currently in progress
- The Screen Layout
1) Credits(remaining number of lives)
When the vitality on the vitality bar is completely consumed, the credits decrease. The game will be over when no credit is left.
2) Vitality
If hero Sou crashes against the enemies or he is attacked, the vitality decreases. If the Energy Item is taken, the vitality increases.
3) Energy of Battle gear.
Battle gear is hero Sou's weapon. If hero Sou is attacked, the energy of Battle gear decreases. If hero Sou takes the Energy Items and Battle gears, the Energy of the Battle gear increases. The Battle gear will disappear when the Energy of Battle gear is completely consumed. The Energy colour will change to red in the case of a special level.
- Weapons & Energy Items
1) Battle gear
Battle gear supports hero Sou's attack.There are five kinds of Battle gears. If player Keep taking the same kind of Battle gears, and the Battle gear will level up.
a) Shot gear
Shot gear fires high-frequency condensed energy bullets. It has an auto-chasing function.
b) Homing gear
Homing gear chases and attacks Energy-being just like a guided missile with a hitting rate of nearly 100%, but it takes a while to recharge.
c) Bomb gear
Bomb gear has the highest condensed energy bullets with a long recharging interval, but you will be amazed at its annihilating power.
d) Guard gear
Guard gear is made of special metal alloy. It won't break easily. With the help of balance controller, it hovers around hero Sou, defending Sou from all attacks.
e) Smash gear
Smash gear instantaneously fires energy in the form of plasma from it's own body. Unlike other Battle gears, Smash gear attacks the particular area of the enemy with concentrated power. The recharging interval is long.
2) Energy Item
It enables hero Sou(and Battle gear) to recover his(it's) vitality(energy).
