  1. Cache control handy tool for every 68020ed Mac user included Mac II, Prodigy.
  2. Some experience time with Prodigy4,Prodigy SE, and now Mac II, whole uses
  3. advanced 32 bit 68020 CPU and some compiled application cannot work on it,
  4. if the Cache bit enable on processing. I didn't checked but oviously,
  5. problem caused by applications compiled by Lightspeed C. (e.g. Red Ryder 9.4,
  6. 10.0bd,etc.)
  7. These type problem must solves only the user disable Cache bit.
  8. But Mac II doesn't have any Cache control. Prodigy has only control d/a or
  9. cdev which waste the time (slow to control).

  11. But most situation what I want more easy to switch it then.
  12. In the Macintosh, most easy way to implement to easy switching is implement
  13. as FKEY. Then I tried to make it as FKEY.

  15. Here is easy 'Cache Control' FKey as ID=8.
  16. Please install use ResEdit1.1b1 or old one.
  17. Function is easy.
  18. Hit Cmd+Shift+8 -> When beep 1 time  which enable  Cache. (Cache On)
  19. Hit Cmd+Shift+8 -> When beep 2 times which disable Cache. (Cache Off)
  20. Switch above control as ever.
