  1.                            THE TEN COMMANDMENTS

  4.  1)     I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of  
  5.         Egypt, out of the house of slavery.  You shall have no other gods
  6.         before Me.   
  7.  
  8.  2)     You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what 
  9.         is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under 
  10.         the earth.  You shall not worship or serve them; for I, the Lord 
  11.         your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers 
  12.         on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those
  13.         who hate Me, but showing lovingkindness to thousands, to those   
  14.         who love Me and keep My  commandments.

  16.  3)      You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for  
  17.          the Lord will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in    
  18.          vain. 
  19.  
  20.  4)     Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall  
  21.         labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath of  
  22.         the Lord your God; in it you shall not do any work, you or your  
  23.         son or your daughter, your male or your female servant or your   
  24.         cattle or your sojourner who stays with you.  For in six days the
  25.         Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is     
  26.         them, and rested ont he seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed  
  27.         the sabbath day and made it holy.

  29.  5)     Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be  
  30.         prolonged int he land which the Lord your God gives you. 
  31.  
  32.  6)     You shall not murder. 
  33.  
  34.  7)     You shall not commit adultery 
  35.  
  36.  8)     You shall not steal. 
  37.  
  38.  9)     You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. 
  39.  
  40. 10)     You shall not covet your neighbor's house, you shall not covet  
  41.         your neighbor's wife or his male servant or his female servant or
  42.         his ox or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor.
