  1. Bakker Gets The Publicity

  3. One of the great news media fads these days is making much over people 
  4. like Bakker and Swaggart, and quietly pushing Roman Catholic 
  5. transgressions under the rug.  This is to be expected from a solidly 
  6. pro-Roman Catholic press, and you wouldn't expect anything else.  
  7. Occasionally, however, something gets out on the second or third page 
  8. in a foreign newspaper that CBS and NBC simply fail to pick up.
  9.

  11. "Vancouver--Roman Catholic priest Luke Meunier, recently ordered 
  12. extradited from Florida to British Columbia to face child molestation 
  13. charges, has died in the Florida prison.  He was to face seven charges 
  14. in British Columbia."

  16. Second item, "St.  Paul--Bishop Raymond Roy said a Roman Catholic 
  17. priest in the northern Elberta community of St.  Paul has been removed 
  18. from his parish for alleged misconduct involving youths.  The priest 
  19. is the third in the St.  Paul diocese to face allegations in the past 
  20. year." The moral lesson is clear, if you fornicate with young men and 
  21. molest little children, you won't have to worry about bad publicity, 
  22. provided you are a Roman Catholic.  If you are a "Charismatic," that 
  23. is something different .
