  25.      Art. 1. The provisions of law generally applicable with respect to the
  26. judicial review of finally adjudicated cases shall apply also to judgments in
  27. cases concerning the freedom of the press, even if the question whether a
  28. criminal offence has been committed has been tried by a jury.
  29.  
  30.      If a case in which a jury has considered whether a criminal offence has
  31. been committed is reopened and its reopening is founded on circumstances which
  32. may be presumed to have influenced the jury's deliberations, it shall be
  33. decided at the same time that the case shall be resubmitted to a jury in the
  34. court which first pronounced judgment. If the retrial has been granted for the
  35. benefit of the accused and the matter is manifest, the court which granted the
  36. retrial may instead amend the judgment forthwith.

  38.      Art. 2. The provisions of Chapter 12, Articles 10-14 shall apply with
  39. respect to the appointment of a jury when, in pursuance of a decision of a
  40. higher court, a case concerning the freedom of the press in which a jury
  41. participated is to be heard again by a jury before the court which first
  42. pronounced judgment.

  44.      Art. 3. Actions concerning the freedom of the press and other actions
  45. concerning offences against the provisions of this Act shall always be heard
  46. without delay.
  47.  
  48.      Art. 4. Repealed.
  49.  
  50.      Art. 5. In all matters not dealt with in this Act or in special
  51. legislation enacted by virtue of this Act, general provisions of law and
  52. statute shall apply.
  53.  
  54.      Except as otherwise provided in this Act or elsewhere in law, foreign
  55. nationals are to be equated with Swedish citizens.

  57.      Art. 6. Repealed.

  59. TRANSITIONAL PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE ENACTMENT OF THE AMENDMENT ACT

  62.      1. This Act comes into force on 1 January 1978.
  63.  
  64.      2. The new provisions do not apply to matter which has been duplicated by
  65. stencil, photo-copying or other similar technical processes and published
  66. before the Act comes into force.
  67.  
  68.      3. Older provisions still apply in respect of cases in which proceedings
  69. were pending prior to the date on which the Act comes into force.

  80.      This act comes into force on 1 January 1983. The provisions laid down in
  81. Chapter 2 Article 5 in its new wording shall apply also with respect to an
  82. earlier General Assembly of the Church.
