This is the SRMGR.TXT file. You should also have the SRMGR.EXE and SRMGR.INI files along with it, both of which are included in SRMGR.ZIP. These SRMGR files replace the previously named SSLIST files.

1.1 October 22: added DELETE option, to delete files in list, changed name from SSLIST to SRMGR, added INI= option to [Settings] section to allow common INI file to be used by all users on a network, and added capability to SAVE and NAME search results and later retrieve them.
You should unzip SRMGR.ZIP and then place the SRMGR.EXE file in the SoftSolutions utility directory. You should then add a new application record (Setup | Applications | Add) as a "launch" and with a command line something like the following:
%O@util\SRMGR.exe %R[%SR] %O %B %UD
The %O at the beginning and as the 2nd parameter tells SoftSolutions where the programs directory is. The '@' character between '%O' and 'util' is simply a separator character.
I suggest you also set up the application record as an EZLaunch item (there are 8 possible EZLaunches that can be setup) by going to Setup | Control | EZLaunch Options, and then add a button to the Button Bar for this launch by going to File | Preferences | SpeedButtons... so that you can run this utility simply by selecting that 1 button.
When you first run the program it will create an SRMGR.INI file for you, but which you can modify to customize the way the program works for you. There is also a sample SRMGR.INI file included with this program, to show you various ways that settings can be made in this file. All this is documented in the program, and available for reading when you run it.
This is a shareware version of the program, although there are no restrictions on it's use. Registering it will provide you with free technical support via CompuServe and/or internet e-mail, and ensure you are provided with free updates for 1 year from date of registration. There are a number of enhancements still to be added: printing/viewing to screen, saving and retrieving previous search results lists, sending output by e-mail to someone else, 1-step mass check-out to floppy disk, printing your worklist rather than the search results list, printing everyone else's worklist, printing column headings, better formatting of long comments, inclusion of access statistics information, and copying/moving files to another dataset, possibly via SoftSolutions' Global Replicator feature.
To register this product, GO SWREG and specify Registration ID 8074. Once registered, I will send you a registered copy of the program, and ensure you are provided with updates.
For organizations wishing to get access to the source code which this program is made up of, I will provide a copy in escrow, to be made available if I don't meet my obligations for support and continued updates. Alternately, I will sell the source (written in Borland Delphi) for a higher price, of course, provided the end-user doesn't use it for development of other commercial products.
