  2.    This is a modified version of Robert K. Jung's UNARJ 2.20.

  4. Changes

  6. *  UNARJ now also runs on Atari ST's
  7.  
  8. *  UNARJ is now very highly optimized in assembly language. All important
  9.    routines are completely rewritten. I used only small part from original
  10.    Robert Jung's sources. UNARJ now works over three times faster (you can
  11.    compare it with UNARJ on any PC ;-). Extracting by UNARJ is too faster
  12.    than by one of LHARC, UNZIP and so on.

  14. *  UNARJ now has length about 15 kilobytes. The older one, written in C,
  15.    had about 30 kB.

  17. *  UNARJ creates sub-directories if they don't exist.
  18.  
  19. *  A directory may be specified, where UNARJ should extract files into.
  20.    If a directory is specified, it must immediately follow the E or X
  21.    command, and it must end with a backslash character. So the complete
  22.    syntax of the E or X command is

  24.       UNARJ X archive [path\]      or
  25.       UNARJ E archive [path\]
  26.  
  27.    I hope this changes may be usefull to you, as they are to me.
  28.    Thanks to Robert K Jung, that he allowed me to work on this interesting
  29.    software. If anybody want it, he can try to write any faster UNARJ...
