  2. Removing the Tire and Tube from the Wheel

  4.      Let all remaining  air out of
  5. the tire.
  6.      Use  a couple  of tire levers
  7. if you have them,  or the backs of
  8. some  forks  or  spoons,  (try  to
  9. avoid using sharp screwdrivers) to
  10. remove   the    tire.   Start   by
  11. inserting one  tire lever anywhere
  12. between the  tire and the  edge of
  13. the rim. Insert the lever just far
  14. enough to pry the edge of the tire
  15. over the edge of the rim.

  17.     The inner tube inside is very
  18.  easy to poke a hole into.

  22.      After prying the  edge of the
  23. tire  over, insert  one more  tire
  24. lever about 4"  from the first one
  25. and  pry a  little more  tire over
  26. the edge of the rim. Take out this
  27. second  lever   and  re-insert  it
  28. another 4"  away and pry  over the
  29. edge of the  tire again here. Soon
  30. the whole side of the tire will be
  31. loose enough to finish prying over
  32. by hand.
  33.      Pull  the inner  tube out  of
  34. the way  and finish by  prying the
  35. other  side  of  the  tire off the
  36. rim.
