  2.      10-speed  type   hand  levers
  3. sometimes   cannot    be   mounted
  4. securely because  the brake levers
  5. do  not  fit  the  diameter of the
  6. handlebar.  The best  repair is to
  7. replace the handlebar or the brake
  8. levers.
  9.     Extension (aka  safety) levers
  10. often have  adjustable pivots. You
  11. may  leave  their  mounting screws
  12. loose if there  are springs inside
  13. the pivot posts to keep the  bolts
  14. from unscrewing due to vibration.
