  25. Watch the expansion tank  for water  level.  Keep
  26. it between the  HOT and  COLD marks.  You  should
  27. have the required ratio of anti-freeze year round
  28. for freeze protection  and overheat protection in
  29. the summer.  Higher  proportions  of  anti-freeze
  30. will allow your engine to run cooler.   The color
  31. of  the solution  should be a  bright green (or a
  32. bright blue depending on the type anti-freeze).

  35. If the level drops often, check the clamps on the
  36. hoses for leakage.  Should you see wetness around
  37. the hose, tighten the screw on the hose clamp. 
  38. Be sure to check the smaller hoses which run from
  39. the engine to the heater.  They can leak also.
