  7.     She's Blues. He's Broadway. But they share something that
  8. made last week's collaboration long overdue: the name RAITT.
  9. Rocker BONNIE, 42, teamed up with her dad JOHN, 75, sonorous
  10. stage star of the '40s and '50s, for a concert with John
  11. Williams and the Boston Pops. "I wouldn't have thought we'd be
  12. able to find common ground," says Raitt the younger, who did
  13. most of the musical compromising. The program, which will air
  14. on PBS in July, showcases the pair performing Broadway ballads.
  15. Says Bonnie: "It was right up there with getting married in
  16. terms of how touching it was."
