  6.     The Shining Path guerrillas have controlled two cellblocks
  7. in Peru's Canto Grande prison for nearly six years. Last week
  8. police blew a hole in the cellblock roof, then used tear gas to
  9. flush rebels out; at least two policemen and 11 guerrillas were
  10. killed. President Alberto Fujimori decreed mandatory 25- to
  11. 30-year jail sentences for anyone convicted of involvement in
  12. rebel assassination squads.
