  13. FINISH LINE(tm) is software that makes using your PC faster and easier by
  14. allowing you to Finish a Line with a single keystroke.  FINISH LINE
  15. automatically learns your style and vocabulary as you type, then shows
  16. likely words and phrases in a window.  Unlike keyboard macros, it requires
  17. NO set-up commands and no Hot-Keys to remember.

  20. As you begin typing a word or phrase that FINISH LINE can predict,
  21. FINISH LINE displays the possibilities in a window.  You can press a
  22. single key and FINISH LINE will complete the word or phrase for you.

  28. To install FINISH LINE for DOS:

  30.   - at the DOS prompt type:      A:FINISH I

  32. FINISH LINE will prompt you for the drive and directory for installation.

  38. To install FINISH LINE for Windows:

  40.   - In Window's Program Manager (the main Windows screen) select from
  41.     the menu:
  42.                 File | Run

  44.   - Then enter the full drive\directory\name of SETUP.EXE, for example:

  46.                 A:\SETUP
  47.  
  48.    (If you use Norton's Desktop or HP's New Wave instead of Program Manager,
  49.     follow their instructions for RUNning a program).

  51. SETUP will prompt you for the drive and directory to install FINISH LINE
  52. and create the FINISH LINE icon on your desktop, and then run FINISH LINE.

  58. FINISH LINE contains an extensive HELP file that explains what FINISH LINE
  59. does and how to use it.  The easiest way to access HELP is to first install
  60. FINISH LINE (DOS or Windows).  Then you can access FINISH LINE's help
  61. through menu selections or by pressing F1.

  63. If you would like to read the help file before installing FINISH LINE:

  65.  - From DOS, view FINISH.HLP, for example:      MORE <FINISH.HLP
  66.  
  67.  - From Windows, enter Window's Help from any application.  Then select from
  68.    the menu:   FILE | OPEN   and enter the full drive\directory\name of
  69.    FLW.HLP, for example:      C:\UTIL\FLW.HLP

  75. FINISH LINE for Windows works with most Windows programs.  However it
  76. does not work with DOS programs (even those executing under Windows).
  77. FINISH LINE for DOS works with most DOS programs and can be run directly
  78. from DOS or as a DOS application under Windows.  (You can even
  79. simultaneously run FINISH LINE for Windows and FINISH LINE for DOS).
  80. Thus, there is a version of FINISH LINE for nearly any PC application.

  82. Both versions use the same dictionary file format so words and phrases
  83. learned by one version CAN be transferred to the other.  You can use the
  84. FINISH LINE menu to display or print an Order Form for both DOS and Windows
  85. versions, (including a special discount if you order both!)

  87. Full-function evaluation versions of FINISH LINE for DOS and FINISH LINE for
  88. Windows are available from many bulletin boards and shareware distributors.
  89. The latest versions of FINISH LINE are always available on CompuServe
  90. (GO IBMSYS: FINISH.ZIP and FINISW.ZIP).  Or you use your modem to
