  5. These are *authentic* patterns.  The colors take advantage of modern beads/
  6. stitching.

  45.     Y - metallic gold or yellow         Spirit's representative, or
  46.     B - black                           working force in the world.
  47.     * - turquoise blue                  The Thunderbird gets its power
  48.                                         and authority from the Sun.
  49.                                         In all beadwork, the Thunderbird
  50.                                         should be below the Sun, or
  51.                                         after the Sun in a line.  The
  52.                                         Thunderbird is the part of "God"
  53.                                         we see by observing nature.

  57. I will create the patterns for "man" and "arrow of force" tomorrow, or
  58. the next time I feel like doing this.

  60.     On my jacket, I have a strip of beadwork running from the top of my right
  61. shoulder, down the front of the jacket, and disappearing just under the sleeve.
  62.  At the top is a Sun symbol with an arrow pointing down from it to the
  63. Thunderbird, then an arrow pointing from the Thunderbird down to a man symbol,
  64. then another arrow pointing to me.  This is a "Chain of Being" type statement,
  65. made in Native American symbolism.
