  3.     Doily Wreath
  4.  
  5. Materials:
  6.  
  7. 1 pkg. 8" square doilies
  8. 12" grapevine wreath
  9. 2 1/2 yds. 1" wide ribbon
  10. 1 styrofoam ball
  11. Curly hair
  12. 2" square of nylon stockings
  13. 1 yellow daidy spray
  14. 1 white bell flower spray
  15. 1 sweet william spray (choice of color)
  16. 8" x 3/4" satin ribbon
  17. toothpick
  18. wire
  19. Hot glue gun

  21. Instructions:
  22.  
  23. 1. Keep 2 doiles together. Find the center of the doily and cut
  24.    in 3" towards center.
  25.  
  26. 2. Fan fold the bottom of the doily. Wire doily 3 inches from top.
  27.  
  28. 3. Fold the doily down over the wire to form a cape. Glue the
  29.    cape together in the back.
  30.  
  31. 4. Place the styrofoam bakk in the nylon square, pull to the top
  32.    and wire. Put a toothpick in the bottom.

  34. 5. Cut a 4" length of ribbon and cut a V on one end. Glue the
  35.    ribbon down the front and back of the cape until the head
  36.    touches the shoulder. Glue in place. Add a small bow at the neck
  37.    with 3/4" ribbon.

  39. 6. Glue curly hair on the styrofoam ball. Cut a few small flowers
  40.    off the spray and glue in the center of cape.
  41.  
  42. 7. Cut 1 - 16" lengths of ribbon and trim the ends. Loop and glue
  43.    them along the upper left of the wreath, follwoing the curve.
  44.    Use remaining ribbon to make a puffy bow, with a center loop,
  45.    two 2" loops, four 2 1/2" loops and no tails. Glue the now to
  46.    the center of the loops.

  48. 8. Glue flowers to left side of wreath.
  49.  
  50. 9. Take a single doily and fan fold from one point to another.
  51.    Fold in half and glue under top portion of the bow.
  52.  
  53. 10.Repeast step 9 and glue to bottom portion of bow.

  55. 11.Glue doll to opposite side of the wreath.
