  3. If you're using Ribband, cut the length twice the length
  4. of the desired length.  Leave 1/4 of the total desired size
  5. on both the top and the bottom.  When you're done stitching
  6. fold the unstitched areas up on the backside until they meet.
  7. Overlap one end over the other and stitch.  Then sew up the
  8. vertical edges over the decorative Ribband trim.
