  5. Fabricraft peel 'n stick 4C12 Remembrance Mini Paisley
  6. three 5/8" wide mauve ribbon roses
  7. Fabricraft peel 'n stick 4C31 Bone Calico
  8. 2 2/3 yds. of 1.4" wide burgundy upholstery piping
  9. 8"xlO " mat with oval opening
  10. 4" 1/4" wide burgundy satin ribbon
  11. 8 "xlO " of cardboard (if mat does not come with a back)
  12. 1/3 yd of 3/8" long ivory teardrop pearl trim
  13. 5" x 7" oval mirror
  14. spring clothes pins, pencil, ruler, scissors
  15. 9"x11" piece of bonded polyester batting
  16. 4" wide white Battenberg heart doily
  17. tacky craft glue or glue gun and sticks

  19. 1. Center the mirror over the back mat opening. Trace around the mirror,
  20.    set it aside, then tum the mat right side up. Glue batting to the front;
  21.    trim the edges and cut out the center oval. Cut a lO"xl2" piece of
  22.    Paisley, place the mat on the paper side and trace the center oval.
  23.    Mark 3/4" inside the traced oval, cut out and discard. Remove the paper
  24.    backing and press the fabric to the batting. Clip the oval curves and
  25.    wrap the fabric to the back, pulling it taut. Fold each corner triangle
  26.    of fabric to the back, then fold the sides.                                          1  '

  28. 2. Glue piping around the outer edges. Glue the min~rtothe mat back inside ~e traced line. Cover the cardboard with
  29.   Calico, blding in thc corners asinstep 1. Glue the mat and cardboard wrong sides together, securing with clothespins
  30.   until dry.
  31. 3: Cut two4'/2" pearl lengths and glue as shown. Glue ~ heart doily to the top with the roses in the center. Cut five
  32.   pearls from ~Ee remaining trim and glue among the roses. Fonr]. lhe ribbon into a loop; glue to the upper back for a hanger.
