First, make a directory where you want to keep and run Fabric. Copy
all the files above to that directory. (Read the manual if you need
help.) Change to that directory.
Second, run the INSTALL.BAT program by typing "INSTALL" (no quotes) at
the DOS prompt. A subdirectory DESIGNS will be created and all design
files (ending with .FAB) will be moved to DESIGNS.
Third, run the DEMO.BAT program by typing "DEMO" at the DOS prompt. This
will give you an idea on what to do with Fabric.
Fourth, if you like, print out the 22 page manual by typing
"COPY FABRIC.DOC PRN" at the DOS prompt. If you don't want to print
then you can read the manual with an ASCII file viewer.
Fabric is very easy to use, but it is a good idea to read the manual
anyway.
When you want to design your own patterns with Fabric, type "FABRIC".
If you like the program, print out RIGISTER.FRM, fill it out, send it
together with a check for $20 to address indicated.
