Stitches I found this jewel handwritten in a plastic
bag with a 6 inch rule, a spool of Red
Speed-Cro-Sheen, size 0 steel hook. I made it a week
ago Sat and it's adorable!!

DIRECTIONS: With Red Knit-Cro-Sheen and size 0 steel hook, chain 7.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next 4 ch, 2 sc in .last ch. 1
st increased. Ch 1, turn. (7 st)
Row 2: Sc in 1st 4 sc, tr in next sc, pushing the tr to back of .
work, sc in next sc, 2 sc in last sc, ch 1, turn. (8 st)
Row 3: Sc in each st across, increasing in last sc, ch 1, turn.(9

to within last ch. In last ch make sc, ch 2, sc; Working along
opposite side of starting chain, sc in each ch to within last
5 ch, sl st in next ch. Turn.
Row 2: Sl st in the sl st, sc in each sc to within the ch 2 space, in
ch 2 space, make sc, ch 2 and sc; sc in each sc to within last 4 sc,
sl st in next sc. Turn.
Row 3: same as row 2. Turn.
Row 4: same as row 2. Turn.
Row 5: sl st in the sl st, sc in each sc to within the
ch 2 space, sc in the ch 2 space. Break off and fasten.
large leaf: Row 1: same as 1 for small leaf.
Row 2: same as 2 for small leaf.
Row 3: same as 2 for small leaf.
Row 4: same as 2 for small leaf.
Row 5: same as 5 for small leaf.
Make 3 large leaves, but do not break off at end of
3rd leaf. Work stem as follows: Chain 14.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each chain
across, sl st in the ch 2 space of one Small
Leaf, sl st in the chain 2 sp of one Large
Leaf, l st in the ch 2 sp of 1 small leaf. Ch 1, turn.
Row 2: Sc in each of first 5 sc on stem, ch 8, skip 7
sc, sc in next sc. Turn.
Row 3: Sl st in each ch and in each sc, sl st in the
ch 2 space of 3rd Large Leaf. Break off and fasten.
"If a pot holder consists of 2 pieces, cut lining material slightly
smaller than crocheted pieces. Tack to wrong side of one piece, then
complete according to directions."
"If pot holder consists of one piece, cut a lining, allowing 1/2 inch
all around for seams, turn back seam allowance and sew neatly in place
on wrong side."
