  8. Size: adjustable to head size.
  9. Materials: Wright's Baby Ric Rack  (this is a 1969 recipe so
  10. substitute), 17 5-yard cards; Seven yards grosgrain ribbon. Plastic
  11. hook size K.
  12.  
  13. Gauge: 1 double-knot st=about 2 1/2 ".  Note wind rick rack into a
  14. ball, knotting ends together.

  16. Snood: Begin at center of crown, ch3, join with a slip stitch to form ring.
  17.  
  18. Round 1: 6 single crochet in ring.  Do not join rounds.
  19.  
  20. Round 2: Single crochet in next single crochet, *pull up a loop on hook
  21. to measure 1": yarn over hoop and thru loop, single crochet under
  22. strand at back of long loop, repeat from * once (1 double knot stitch made),
  23. ** single crochet in next single crochet, work double knot-stitch, repeat
  24. from ** around, end single crohet in first single crochet-6 double
  25. knot-stitches.

  27. Round 3: *Work double knot-stitch, sc in sc at center of next double

  29. repeat from * around-12 double knot stitches.

  36. Round 12:*Pull up a loop on hook to measure 1", yarn over hook and
