  11. This is release 1.33 of avmNfax, a voicemail/fax program
  12. that supports ZyXEL, LineLink, Dolphin modems,
  13. and Rockwell modems.  Supras are not supported with
  14. this release.

  16. This version includes its own fax program, printer
  17. driver, fax printer, and fax viewer.  This fax program
  18. can be used with Class 1 and Class 2 fax modems.  It can
  19. also be used with the voice modems that AVM supports.

  21. It can also work in conjunction with GPFax (or TrapFax)
  22. and AXsh (other fax programs or BBSes may be substituted
  23. with some ARexx programming) to provide voice, fax, and
  24. data, all on one line.

  26. This version is a rewrite of ZVM and it requires
  27. MUI 1.4 or greater (it is known to work on MUI 2.0).
  28. It supports multiple lines (if you have multiple
  29. modems of the same type).  You can use avmNfax as a
  30. simple answering machine with fax capabilities,
  31. or use it to provide multiple mailboxes.  It can play
  32. different "intro" messages depending on the time of day,
  33. day of week, random, or manual selection.  You can retrieve
  34. your messages remotely, etc.  The caller can
  35. be told of a forwarding number when he enters
  36. a particular mailbox.  There are many enhancements
  37. since 1.19 was released.

  39. To reduce setup time, I highly recommend that you
  40. also get the pre-recorded English voice files.  Look
  41. for anything that starts with AVMV (like AVMVEngCVSD7200.lha,
  42. AVMVEngADPCM2.lha, etc.).

  51. This version includes keyfile-protected versions of the Scheduler and
  52. Programmer.  These two programs function as demos without the keyfiles.
  53. Also, there is a shareware window for the main program that goes away
  54. if you register.

  56. The fax send/receive program is fully functional.  But, printing out
  57. faxes without registering is limited to the first half of a page.
