  6. The A-Kwic system provides the tools to "index" text records.
  7.  
  8. A database is created, using the LoadDB command. The database contains  
  9. the records, and keyword indexes that show which records contain each
  10. keyword.
  11.  
  12. The A-Kwic command is used to search for records, by specifying one or
  13. more keywords. Any matching records can be displayed, using a user
  14. specified display routine.
  15.  
  16. The A-Kwic system is useful for indexing any large collection of records,
  17. such as Fish Disks, CD_ROM contents, or other collections of text.
  18.  
  19. It is also useful for indexing customer, parts, or service call records.
