  1. This is the root directory of pieces culled from the BSD4.3 net2
  2. release, as ftp'd from nic.funet.fi, directory pub/unix/4.3bsd/net2/...

  4. Because these use BSD style makefiles, you need to use bsd-make
  5. to make them.

  7. Some of them you can't even use bsd-make on, you have to do it by
  8. hand for now (libm for example).

  10. Also, note that since this is still somewhat of a "skeleton tree",
  11. there are some directories that are empty and exist simply as places
  12. to put files in a future distribution.  Also, in a future distribution
  13. it has been decided that this tree will be merged with the GNU tree,
  14. into a single unified tree of ported utilities.
