  16. The program Hack Lite was developed by Alan Beale, under the auspices of
  17. the Software Distillery and Home Brew Software, Inc.  Hack Lite is based in
  18. large measure on the UNIX and IBM PC implementations of Hack.  A lesser
  19. influence is the NetHack implementation.  For a full list of contributors
  20. to this software, select the "About Hack" menu item while playing the game.

  23. Hack Lite is freely-redistributable software, with restrictions as
  24. described below, on redistribution, porting, and modification.

  26. Permission is granted to redistribute the Hack Lite program and data files
  27. provided the following conditions are met:

  29.    1.  All files present in the distribution package must be redistributed
  30.        with the package, including this documentation file.  If you
  31.        distribute on diskette, all files must be on a single diskette.

  33.    2.  The distributor may charge a fee to recover distribution costs.
  34.        The fee for diskette distribution should not be more than the cost
  35.        to obtain the same diskette from Fred Fish.

  37.    3.  The distributor agrees to cease distributing the programs and data
