  20. What is 'BOOTJOB' ?
  21.  
  22. 'BOOTJOB' is a very useful BootBlock-Utility. With `BOOTJOB` you are able to
  23. store,copy,install,view,execute or save as excutable every DiskBootBlock.

  25. BOOTJOB V1.00 REQUIRES AMIGA-OS2.0 + ASL.LIBRARY
  26.  
  27. The most powerful function is to save any Bootblock as a executable CLI-File.
  28. Now you can run every Boot-Util,Viruschecker,Game,Loader from your CLI.
  29. Especially when you want to run another Tool, before the Mainprogram starts.
  30. (examples: NoFastmem,Nochipmem,Monitor...)

  32. Many Bootprogs. won`t work correctly under Amiga OS2.x (Systemcrash!).
  33. Therefore you are able to save these Bootblocks as a executable File and run
  34. it under DOS1.3 !!!

  41. Also self-written Bootblocks can be installed to Disk. As long as the 
  42. DOS-ID (`DOS`,0,$370) is included in the BootBlockfile.
  43. Just load the File with the `LOAD FILE->BUFFER`-Gadget and install it on
  44. your Disk. The new BootChecksum will be calculated by `BOOTJOB`.

  51. It is allowed to distribute `BOOTJOB` in anyway (Disks/BBS`s...), when no
  52. change is made to the original Files.

  66. Getting started

  69. You can start 'BOOTJOB' by double-clicking on its Workbench-Icon or from
  70. CLI with its Filename. If you`re using `Run BOOTJOB`, then you are able to
  71. use your Cli as long as you type `Endcli`.

  73. After loading `BOOTJOB`, it will open up a Window with many Gadgets which 
  74. will be explained now.

  131. Be careful ,If you don`t know what a kind of Bootblock is in the Buffer or
  132. on the Disk. BootBlock-Viruses can be activated by selecting the 
  133. `EXECUTE BUFFER`-Gadget.

  135. Also the saving as excutable CLI-File (SAVE BUFFER->PROG) can be unpleasant,
  136. when running the File from the CLI.

  138. Better to check Disks including unknown Bootblocks with a Viruschecker.
