  1. This is disk 712 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.
  2. Below is a listing of the significant directories and their contents.

  5. AniMan        AniMan combines Amiga animation, speech synthesis, and voice
  6.         recognition, to provide you with an animated talking head
  7.         that will run any Amiga program by voice command.  Ask for
  8.         an Amiga program by name, and AniMan will oblige.  If AniMan
  9.         becomes impatient, you may be insulted.  AniMan will also
  10.         recite poetry if you ask nicely.  This is Version 3.0 of Ani-
  11.         Man, an updaate to version 2.1 disk 653.  It corrects a bug
  12.         that caused AniMan to crash on some machines but not others.
  13.         This version will also automatically adjust for either NTSC
  14.         or PAL systems.  Either the Perfect Sound 3 or Sound Master
  15.         (Sound Magic) audio digitizer is required along with 1MB of
  16.         fast memory.  AniMan is like nothing you've ever see before.

  20. HamLabDemo    Demo version of an expandable image format conversion utility
  21.         that converts GIF, IFF, JPEG, Targa, BMP, TIFF, PBMPLUS, MTV,
  22.         Spectrum 512, QRT, and Sun images into IFF (normal, HAM, half-
  23.         brite, and "sliced" variations of each).  Images can be 
  24.         scaled, dithered, color corrected, and cropped.  This demo
  25.         version is limited to processing images of 512 by 512 pixels
  26.         or less.  This is version 2.0.6, an update to version 1.1 on
  27.         disk 466.  Shareware, binary only.

  30. JEyes        Amiga version of XEyes, a program which opens a window on the
  31.         WorkBench screen containing eyes, which follow the cursor
  32.         about the screen.  Version 3.0, binary only.

  35. Solitaire    An amiga version of klondike solitaire.  Provides multiple
  36.         options including six different decks, customizable game
  37.         rules, game timer, the ability to view a stack, and an undo
