- <body>
- <h3>What is it?</h3>
- Sketch Pad is essentially a drawing program, not dissimilar to !Paint or
- !Draw, although it has different features, and is meant for a slightly
- different purpose. Sketch Pad is bitmap based, as opposed to object oriented.
- This means it works quite like pencil and paper, in that you can draw and
- rub out, but there are many more features such as airbrush and animation.
- <br>
- <b>What is it <em>not<em>?</b><br>
- Sketch Pad is not an "all singing, all dancing," 48 bit colour,
- 281474976710656 colours, huge resolution .....
- <p>
- <p>
- However it provides a simple, easy to use, way of creating quite good artwork
- in a surprisingly short time, e.g.<br>
- <img border=0 alt="This IS rather pointless with no graphics" src="../../../Examples/Island">
- <img border=0 alt="" src="../../../Examples/Mountains"><br>
- Both of these can be found in the Examples directory, as
- "Island," and
- "Mountains," respectively.
