  1. TICKET NUMBERING SYSTEM

  5. ----- Introduction -----
  6. This program will prepare the numbers for tickets.
  7. The created textfile is ready to be dropped into
  8.   your favourite DTP package ready to be formatted
  9.   with your prefered style.
  10. Just set the three numerical inputs and everything
  11.   else is done for you.

  14. ----- Instructions -----
  15. Load the program onto the iconbar.
  16. ----
  17. Click <select> over the icon.
  18.   This opens the main window.
  19. ----  
  20. Enter the Starting number.
  21.   This will be the first ticket number.
  22. ----
  23. Enter the Number of tickets required.
  24.   The correct numbers will be worked out.
  25. ----                     
  26. Enter the Price of each ticket.
  27.   Ignore the pound sign - it is added for you.
  28.   Don't forget the following zeros.
  29.     ie 10.00 not just 10.
  30. ----  
  31. Select which of the five styles you want.
  32.   Number  - Ticket Number.
  33.   Cost -  - Cost.
  34.   Each data selection has a {TAB} before it.
  35.   You can search/replace this to suit later.
  36.   Each line is completed with a single <Return>

  38. Click on <Create> and save the file as usual.
  39.   Onto a disc space or via the Wimp.
  40.   This function can also be found on the main menu.

  43. Hope it saves you some time and is useful.

  47. The program comes as it is, is prepared for the
  48. Impression family but can be easily changed for
  49. your own package and has been written on an A440/1.
  50. It runs on all the RiscOs 3.10 machines I have
  51. tested it on - I don't know about RiscPc - yet.

  53. I have used the excellent Dr Wimp suite to build
  54. the program and this is my first attempt with it.
  55. Dr Wimp can be attained from most PD libraries - 
  56. Datafile, APDL, etc.
