  1.                           Icon and window-border sprites

  4. These files contain my current set of icon and "tool" sprites for RISC OS 3
  5. version 3.10, and multisync monitors.

  7. To install them, double click !Install.
  8.  
  9. The "ToolSprs" file contains the definitions for a new set of window-border
  10. icons. I'm afraid that due to their design they don't convert to lo-res
  11. screen modes (e.g. 12, 15) very well at all. As a result, they have been
  12. defined so that they will *only* appear in hi-res modes (20, 27, 31).

  14. The "IconSprs" file contains a set of new sprites to replace some of the
  15. normal file icons with ones that look nice. SOME of these sprites look
  16. OK in lo-res screen modes, but some of them look pretty awful!
  17. (Solution: Get a multisync or VGA monitor ;-)

  19. Note that some of these icons (floppy/hard drive) need to be installed
  20. before the desktop is started up in order to appear in the correct position,
  21. so will look a little bit silly if you run !Install from on the desktop!

  24. A couple of these icons are based on other people's work, but most (95%) of
  25. the icons are Jason Williams originals!

  27. These icons are FreeWare. Copy as much as you like, so long as it's not for
  28. profit and all 4 of these files are copied together and unchanged.
