Clicking SELECT on the Netplex icon bar icon opens the 'Netplex Status' window. This window contains three displays: the name of the last client to access the server, the last file requested and a load indicator. This window is provided purely to let the server administrator gauge the current level of server activity.

The top display shows the name (or IP address) of the last client machine to connect to the server, it also states the port number they have connected from and the socket number that has been allocated for the connection.

The bottom display shows the latest request (not neccessarily from the machine named in the top display). The resource named in the display may, or may not, be valid - all the display is stating is that it has been requested.

To the right of the window is a coloured vertical bar which displays a representation of the current server load. The bar displays the current load as a proportion of the maximum number of connections you have configured. So if one half of your connections are in use, then one half of the bar will be lit up.
